FAQs

  • Is the NAEC & National Champs two separate races or just one?
One and the same race. The NAEC is hosting USA Cycling Enduro National Championships the weekend of the NAEC race. This means we'll have a separate podium for National Champs. Eligible racers will be competing for both the NAEC podium and the National Champs podium. Racers who are not eligible for National Champs will still be competing for the NAEC podium.
  • Who can race the NAEC/Enduro Nationals?
Anyone can race. Our categories are broken down by gender and age and you can find these in our Race Guide. The category you sign up for is the category you will race for unless you choose to change it before the race.
  • How do I qualify for the USA Cycling National Champs?
Nothing needs to be done. There won't be a points system this year, so just make sure you hold a valid license recognized by USA Cycling and whatever category you sign up for you can compete in for National Champs, as long as you are eligible (U.S. resident/citizen). More info on licensing below.
  • Can I still race if I'm not eligible for Nationals?
Yes! We will still have the NAEC podiums for all categories + some, and the $12K pro purse independent from the USA National Champs podium.
  • Do I need a USA Cycling License?
U.S. Riders: To compete in the 2025 Schwalbe NAEC Enduro and E-Enduro National Championships, all participants must hold a valid USA Cycling license. We have partnered with USA Cycling to offer an exclusive $20 Membership for all participants. Click on the links below to get your USAC license. International Riders: USA Cycling cannot issue licenses to non-US citizens or residents. UCI and USA Cycling regulations state that foreign riders competing in the U.S. have to present a valid license and a permission to ride letter from their national cycling federation. Failure to present a license or permission to ride letter does not prevent participation at the NAEC. In this situation, the rider acknowledges that USA Cycling and the NAEC will not provide accident or medical rider insurance.
  • Is there a code to get the discounted USA Cycling Annual License?
Yes! We have partnered with USAC to offer an exclusive $20 Membership for all participants. Race License - Use code: ENDURO25 at check out. Junior License- Use code: JRENDURO25 at check out. This offer is not applicable to those who already hold an active USA Cycling license.
  • What does the USA Cycling license get me?
A USA Cycling license comes with a host of member benefits, including on-the-bike injury insurance during the race weekend and other USA Cycling events, exclusive deals and discounts, and access to USA Cycling’s talent identification camp opportunities and pathways to World Championship eligibility. For more information, click here.
  • Is there a points system for National Champs categories?
There is no point system for this year. The category you sign up for is the category you compete in for Nationals.
